CHAEA 32 simplificada: propuesta basada en an?lisis multivariantes

Abstract

Tradicionalmente el aprendizaje se ha entendido como un proceso est?tico propio de la etapa escolar. En el sistema universitario anterior a Bolonia (proceso de Convergencia Europea de la Educaci?n Superior) primaba la reproducci?n de la informaci?n; actualmente, lo que se exige a los alumnos universitarios es la adquisici?n de competencias. Por tanto, la tarea de los docentes en las aulas no s?lo es transmitir conocimientos sino ?ense?ar c?mo aprender?. El instrumento m?s utilizado en habla hispana es el cuestionario CHAEA (Cuestionario Honey-Alonso de Estilos de Aprendizaje), que consta de 80 ?tems. Los autores identifican cuatro estilos diferentes de aprendizaje: Activo, Reflexivo, Te?rico y Pragm?tico. Los estudios realizados en Espa?a, utilizando este cuestionario, no se han planteado la posible discordancia entre la estructura latente te?rica y la observada. Por esta raz?n entre los objetivos del estudio destacaremos, adem?s de evaluar los Estilos de Aprendizaje de los alumnos, contrastar el modelo te?rico con estudiantes universitarios de la Universidad de Salamanca y analizar la capacidad discriminante de cada ?tem a partir del modelo de Respuesta Graduada de Samejima (1969), para proponer, sin p?rdida de informaci?n una versi?n del cuestionario CHAEA. A la vista de los resultados de nuestro estudio proponemos una simplificaci?n de la escala CHAEA con 32 ?tems en lugar de 80, con alta validez discriminante, alta validez factorial y menor tiempo necesario para la captaci?n de la informaci?n, lo cual es tambi?n muy importante a la hora de conseguir los datos y garantizar la calidad de los mismos.
