Abstract

[ES] En este proyecto se revisar?n los procesos a trav?s de los cuales se podr?a inducir la carbonataci?n de las rocas silicatadas de forma natural, logrando as? una trampa de CO2 segura. Estas rocas deben contener elementos como el Ca y Mg (por ejemplo, wollastonita (CaSiO3), olivino (Mg2SiO4), serpentina (Mg3Si2O5)) con el fin de conseguir que el CO2 se una a sus cationes para formar carbonatos. Para ello utilizamos los materiales que afloran en dos zonas de la Pen?nsula Ib?rica donde est?n documentados afloramientos importantes de rocas ultram?ficas: el Noroeste (Complejo ultram?fico de Cabo Ortegal) y el Sureste (Complejo Nevado ? Fil?bride). En este ?ltimo caso, y m?s concretamente, utilizamos los materiales de la zona de Macael, en Almer?a, puesto que son los estudiados dentro de los proyectos de investigaci?n en los que se enmarca este trabajo.

Este trabajo se ha realizado en el marco de trabajo del Grupo de Investigaci?n Reconocido "Caracterizaci?n de Geomateriales", de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad de Salamanca.
