[EN] The objective of this study are to establish the anatomical basis, neurological and physiological postural balance, from the literature review of current basic research onissues relating to information collection systems, routes of transmission and integration centers of the signals sensory involved in the regulation of postural balance. It uses the available knowledge sources: primary documents and secondary documents. Primary documents are reviewed articles in national and international, the references are obtained from different databases (Medline, Embase, Sciserarch, Cochrane Library)and is accessed through the various bibliographical indexes (Index Medicus, Medical Expert, Current Contents, Medical Spanish Index and Medical Latin Index). The supporting documents have been reviewed books, encyclopedias, treatises, handbooks, monographs and compilations, collected in various libraries and departments of theUniversity of Salamanca. The data is collected, sorted and structured presentation of the results of research in essay form.
