Evaluation of process capability

Abstract

As part of statistical quality control, process capability analysis is widely conducted throughout the product life cycle. It is used to detect & quantify process variability and to help eliminate or reduce the source of variability. Prior evaluation of process capability, it is just as important to decompose the source of variability.
