A comercialização de pesticidas numa empresa

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio enquadra-se no âmbito de Mestrado inserido no curso de Engenharia Agronómica, da Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. Como tal, foi realizado um estágio numa empresa de comercialização de pesticidas na Região Demarcada do Douro (RDD), na sub-região Baixo Corgo, concretamente em Peso da Régua, com o objetivo de realizar o acompanhamento das vendas em balcão. É uma empresa, essencialmente, de comércio de produtos fitofarmacêuticos, equipamentos de proteção individual (EPI) e consumíveis para enologia. O estudo consistiu numa análise de vendas de fungicidas, herbicidas, inseticidas e moluscicidas para os anos de 2015 e 2016, assim como uma breve análise da venda de EPI’s para os mesmos anos, num período compreendido entre Março e Agosto. Este estudo demonstrou um volume superior de vendas de fungicidas no ano de 2016 comparativamente com 2015, devido sobretudo à influência das condições meteorológicas na incidência de algumas doenças parasitárias. No entanto, no que diz respeito a herbicidas e inseticidas, foi o ano de 2015 que apresentou um volume de vendas superior. Os moluscicidas são, normalmente, de utilização pontual e apenas quando necessário, e foi verificado que houve maior volume de vendas em 2016. Também a venda de EPI’s foi invariavelmente superior em 2016 devido à obrigatoriedade imposta por Lei de ter que se usar este tipo de equipamento para efetuar a aplicação de produtos fitofarmacêuticos. Verificou-se, na generalidade, que após a emissão de Avisos Agrícolas houve um aumento das vendas dos pesticidas referidos nos respetivos avisos.

This internship report falls within the scope of a Master's Degree in Agricultural Engineering, University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. As such, it was performed an internship at a pesticide commercialization company in the Douro Demarcated Region (RDD), in the Baixo Corgo sub-region, specifically in Peso da Régua, with the purpose of monitoring over-the-counter sales. It is a company mainly engaged in trade in plant protection products, personal protective equipment (PPE) and consumable for oenology. The study was an analysis of sales of fungicides, herbicides, insecticides and molluscicides for the years 2015 and 2016, as well as a brief analysis of the sale of PPE's for the same years, from March to August. This study has shown a higher sales volume of fungicides in 2016 compared to 2015, mainly due to the influence of weather conditions in their diseases. However, in relation to herbicides and insecticides, it was the year 2015 that had a higher sales volume. Molluscicides are usually only punctual and only when necessary and it was demonstrated that there was a higher sales volume in 2016. Also, the sale of PPE's was invariably higher in 2016 due to the legal obligation to have to use this type of Equipment for the application of plant protection products. It was gennerally found that after the issuance of Agricultural Notices, there was an increase in sales of the pesticides referred to the respectives notices.
