”Redução e Otimização”, talvez duas das palavras mais vezes enunciadas na indústria e economia mundial. Os mercados internacionais passam neste momento por momentos de crise em diversos factores, agravado pelo preço dos combustíveis fósseis. Sendo a palavra de ordem poupar, as empresas procuram meios de se manterem competitivas visto o elevado custo dos combustíveis prejudicar o seu planeamento, investimento e competitividade. Entrámos na ”Era” das energias renováveis, limpas, ilimitadas e seguras, principalmente impulsionadas pela energia solar e eólica. Considerando todos este aspectos a empresa ROCA S.A, prima pela sua excelência nos produtos concebidos não descuidando aspectos ambientais e competitividade. Surge o desafio de utilizar a energia solar de forma a reduzir dependência de combustíveis fósseis aumentando a eficiência das unidades fabris de Leiria, passando numa primeira fase para o aquecimento de ´águas sanitárias (AQS). Nesta dissertação serão avaliadas as diversas tecnologias a poderem ser utilizadas, serão realizadas auditorias energéticas de forma a se avaliarem os os consumos atuais de ´água e de gás natural. Nesta dissertação será projetado um sistema para uma das unidades fabris de Leiria. Visto a Roca possuir ainda outra unidade em Leiria e de forma a se proceder a um dimensionamento rápido e eficaz será implementado um software para dimensionamento da quantidade de colectores solares, tubagens e distâncias entre si na sua montagem bem como a previsão actual do custo da instalação.

”Reduction and optimization” probably two of the words that are most mentioned in industry and global economy. The international markets are in troubles in several sectors, aggravated by the prices and the speculation about the quantity of existent fossil in the planet. The keyword is save money, the company’s are searching new ways to maintain the competitiveness, because the prices of fuels affect the reinvestment and planning. We are in the ”Age”of renewable energies. Clean, unlimited and secure are the key words for those energies. They are driven by solar and wind energies. ROCA S.A always looks for excellence in the designed products, bering in mind ambiental aspects. That rises the challenge of using solar thermic energy in sanitary installations with the purpose, of reducion the dependence of fossil energies rising the efficiency of the plants in Leiria. In this dissertation, the available technologies will be consider and held energetic audits to evaluate the consumptions of water and natural gas. One installation will be projected to one of the plants of the complex. However ROCA S.A has another plant in the complex, so will be implemented one software for futures projects that calculates rapidly and efficiently, the number of solar collectors, dimension of the pipes, the distance between groups of collectors and also the prevision cost of the installation.
