Escrita criativa

Abstract

Writing, it is one of the oldest forms of communication among men, today it’s a key tool for the society which we live. In education, this isn’t only an essential tool for learning the mother tongue, but also for other disciplines. Creative writing allows students to develop multiple skills both linguistically and personally, providing them with basic tools as future citizens. In this sense, the first part of this work, we present an underlying theoretical framework to the topic of creative writing, reflecting on the definition of creativity, the teaching of writing, the importance of creative writing in the child, the teacher's role in this process and the environment to create for the practice of creative writing. Ends up this part with the presentation of some examples of exercises for the realization of creative writing. In the second part of this report describes the teaching practice supervised held in pre-school and 1st cycle of basic education, highlighting the activities carried out in these contexts.
