Abstract

Esta tese de mestrado têm como principal objetivo a uniformização dos critérios de avaliação dos percursos pedestres, conseguindo melhorar as condições da prática dos utilizadores, assim como um melhor planeamento por parte dos profissionais de atividades de academias de ginásio aquando do planeamento de atividades exteriores. Desta forma vão possuir uma informação idêntica sobre todos os percursos pedestres que pretendem percorrer assim como de toda a envolvência do mesmo. Assim sendo, o corpus deste trabalho envolve dois temas. Por um lado as características físicas de percursos, e por outro o tema da saúde, englobando os problemas biomecânicos e as dificuldades encontradas nos percursos pedestres. Depois de procedermos a revisão bibliográfica, analisamos todos os dados e criamos duas fichas de avaliação, uma para cada diferente tema. Após termos os instrumentos elaborados percorremos um percurso pedestre e aplicamos os instrumentos no percurso e na região na qual este se encontra inserido, resultando desta aplicação conclusões sobre o percurso e região avaliadas. Deste modo podemos concluir que a criação das duas fichas de avaliação em duas diferentes áreas, irá uniformizar a avaliação dos percursos pedestres, permitindo realizar uma avaliação homogénea entre todos os percursos pedestres e melhorar as experiências dos seus utilizadores assim como permitirá melhorar as condições físicas desse mesmo percurso.

The main aim of this thesis is the standardization of criteria for evaluation of walking trails, able to improve the conditions of the practice of the users, as well as better planning by the gyms activities professionals when they plan outdoor activities. Through this way we will have an identical information in every walking trails as well everything it have surroundings. Therefore, the corpus of this work has two themes. On the one hand, we have the physical´s characteristics of the trails; on the other hand, we have the health theme, that have the biomechanical problems and the difficulties find in the walking trails. After we made the literature´s review, we analyze all the data and we create two evaluation tools, one for each different theme. Then, after we having prepared the instruments, we walk in a pedestrian trail and apply the tools in the path and in the region. For this application, we have the conclusions about the trail and the region. Thus we can conclude that the creation of the two evaluation forms in two different areas, will standardize the assessment of pedestrian trails, allowing to perform an assessment homogeneous among all footpaths and improve the experiences of its users as well as will improve the physical conditions that same route.
