Abstract

Dissertação de Mestrado em Ciências da Educação, Tecnologias Educativas Este estudo tem como objetivo central compreender o conceito dos Cursos de Educação e Formação (CEF), e a sua realidade no processo de educação e formação de jovens, tendo como perspetiva um caminho de reencontro dos jovens com o sistema educativo atual. Tenta-se sobretudo perceber a ideia que estes jovens têm da oferta formativa que frequentam e particularmente os efeitos que esta escolha tem no seu percurso escolar. Paralelamente aspirar a que futuros professores desta realidade formativa possam ter neste estudo um apoio. A dissertação é composta de duas partes a primeira refere-se ao enquadramento legislativo ou normativo e teórico do que se pretende estudar. A segunda parte refere-se à realidade escolar e ao enquadramento metodológico. Em relação ao enquadramento teórico e normativo são apresentados o desenvolvimento histórico do ensino técnico desde a sua criação até à introdução dos Cursos de Educação e Formação. É feita uma resenha do enquadramento legal dos Cursos de Educação e Formação e uma abordagem às metodologias de formação com especial referência aos meios e recursos para o ensino profissional. Relativamente à segunda parte, esta inicia-se com o enquadramento metodológico passando para o contexto de investigação. Após o regulamento específico dos cursos CEF, debruço-me então sobre os equipamentos utilizados na prática educativa e os conteúdos a lecionar. Os docentes são uma das peças essenciais nesta engrenagem educativa, pelo que as suas funções e competências não podem ser esquecidas, tal como a importância da participação dos encarregados de Educação. Há lugar ainda para uma descrição relativa às novas realidades formativas nas escolas. Pretende-se com este estudo que o conhecimento possa contribuir para a melhoria das práticas e, desta forma, para uma melhoria da Formação de jovens. This study is mainly intended to understand the concept of Education and Training Courses (CEF) and its reality in young’s process of education and training, with the expectation of a path of reunion of young people with the educational system. I specially try to realize the idea that these young people have of the training course they are attending and particularly the impact that this choice has on their school life. At the same time I wish that future teachers of this formative reality may have a backupin this study The dissertation consists of two parts. The first refers to the legislative or normative and theoretical base of what is intended to be studied. The second part refers to school reality and methodological guidelines. Regarding the theoretical and normative guidelines, it is presented the historical development of technical education since its beginning until the introduction of the CEF. It is made a review of the legal framework of courses CEF and an approach to training methodologies with special reference to the means and resources for professional teaching. The second part begins with the methodological guidelines moving to the research context. After the specific regulation of the CEF courses, I then focus on the equipment used in educational practice and on the contents to be taught. Teachers are one of the essential pieces in this educational engine, so their roles and responsibilities cannot be forgotten, as well as the importance of the participation of the parents or tutors. There is still time for a description about the new training realities in schools. The aim of this study is that knowledge can contribute to the improvement of practices and thus to an improvement of the training of young people.
