Metodologias de ensino em Informática

Abstract

The present Master thesis considers the pedagogy of supervised informatics teaching held at School Morgado de Mateus. An internship characterization, a description of supervised teaching and theoretical approaches are made. Finally concerns between the teaching practice and methodology adopted are taken. Discussions on complex topics as education and addresses to key stakeholders in the teaching / learning process are made, including theoretical reflections of some methodologies used in the teaching of informatics and its relevance in education. Two different philosophies of teaching are approached: instructionism linked to the traditional teaching methodologies and Seymour Papert constructionism relying on the modern teaching methodologies. A balance is no exception in a teaching perspective, as such, although the two approached methodologies have different principles, a balance between the two should be a constant in a pedagogical practice, offering the student, as the main actor in the process, a more successful way to achieve the learning objectives.
