A Educação Física como factor preventivo do insucesso escolar

Abstract

Com esta pesquisa pretendemos explanar as nossas intenções de estudo com o sentido de o tornar relevante dentro das nossas capacidades reais e temporais para a sua consecução dado que o insucesso escolar está inserido no nosso dia-a-dia e consequentemente no futuro da sociedade em que nos inserimos. Este estudo passou por tentar perceber se a Educação Física pode ajudar, na perspectiva dos alunos, no combate ao insucesso escolar, nomeadamente como meio de captar nos alunos um aumento do interesse pelo ambiente escolar. A pesquisa foi realizada com 53 alunos, dos quais 28 são do sexo Masculino e os restantes 25 do sexo Feminino que estão inseridos nas turmas do núcleo de estágio do Agrupamento de Escolas de Arcozelo do ano lectivo 2010/2011. Para a recolha de dados foi utilizado um questionário onde se verificou que 58,49% dos alunos através da Educação Física passou a gostar mais da escola, verificando-se assim que a Educação Física é um factor de Sucesso Escolar.

With this study we intend to explain our intentions to study in order to make it relevant within our capabilities and real time to meet them as school failure is embedded in our day to day and therefore the future of society in which we operate. This study is to try to see if physical education can help to combat school failure including as a means to attract students in an increased interest in the school environment. The study was conducted on 53 students, of whom 28 are male and the remaining 25 females that are inserted into the core classes of the group stage of the School of Arcozelo the academic year 2010/2011. For data collection a questionnaire was used where it was found that 58.49% of students through physical education has to like school more, thus verifying that physical education is a fact of Educational Achievement.
