A Animação Sociocultural e o Tempo Livre: As Actividades de Animação ao Ar Livre

Abstract

This academic output, concerns "The Socio-cultural Animation and free time," and has as its subject the " Animation activities of leisure outdoor ", being developed as part of the second cycle of studies, leading to the Education Sciences - Socio-cultural specialization Master Degree, in the University of Tras-os-Montes, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, lectured in Chaves. Seeks to verify to what extent the Socio-cultural animation is valued in outdoor activities within the practices and habits of free time, questioning the emphasis on Socio-cultural Animation as a methodology and strategy of intervention and local dynamics, the various structures and projects and promoters programs, and still pursues the understanding of which activities and resources in the areas of animation Free time - especially outdoors – are available for children and youth (and whenever possible in other age groups) in the contexts in which we live, we resort to a methodological pluralism that allows integrating multiple practices to a continuum of research methodology, based on the integration of the qualitative paradigm (that we value) and quantitative. Therefore, this scientific work arises from our methodological research options - Chapter I. - for a literature review on the Socio-cultural animation, background, origin and specific identity elements - Chapter II – followed by collected and processed data interpretations obtained in prior field investigation - Chapter III. - And finally some conclusions and concerns - links to a future that we believe in! – regarding the study developed.
