Deseño e síntese dun novo híbrido porfirina-nanografeno

Abstract

A preparación de híbridos obtidos da fusión de porfirinas con nanografenos derivados de diversos hidrocarburos policíclicos aromáticos está a suscitar un crecente interese no ámbito da investigación, debido á capacidade de modificar as propiedades optoelectrónicas destes sistemas. Aínda que a investigación destes híbridos é intensa, a literatura relativa aos que combinan derivados de acenos e porfirinas é escasa. Neste traballo, proponse acadar a funcionalización dun sistema nanografénico de pentaceno, derivado do fenantreno, cunha porfirina (5,10,15-trimesitilporfirina), mediante química en disolución. Para iso, a ruta de síntese dividiuse en tres fases principais: i)síntese da porfirina; ii)síntese do sistema nanografénico e iii) acoplamento do híbrido porfirina-nanografeno. Para sintetizar a porfirina seguiuse unha ruta xa descrita previamente na literatura. Na síntese do nanografeno, seguindo as estratexias sintéticas en disolución baseadas na química de arinos desenvoltas polo noso grupo de investigación, exploráronse diferentes enfoques baseados en reaccións de cicloadición [4+2], xunto con modificacións destinadas a mellorar a súa solubilidade e estabilidade en disolución. Finalmente, no acoplamento porfirina-nanografeno, os resultados, aínda que preliminares, suxiren a obtención do híbrido porfirina-nanografeno proposto, o que supón un prometedor punto de partida para a síntese de novos materiais con estruturas e propiedades destacábeis en disolución.
