Frecuencia y finalidades del uso de la IA en estudiantes universitarios portugueses

Abstract

La incorporación de la inteligencia artificial (IA) en el ámbito universitario plantea importantes retos y desafíos para la formación de quienes van a ser futuros docentes. Conocer con qué frecuencia se utilizan estas herramientas y con qué fines, permite disponer de información que contribuya en el diseño de programas formativos que integren la IA para el desarrollo de competencias tanto instrumentales como de juicio. Con el fin de ahondar sobre la identificación del nivel de frecuencia y la tipología de uso de la IA se desarrolló un estudio cuantitativo, con diseño no experimental, descriptivo y transversal, basado en el método de encuesta. La investigación se desarrolló durante una estancia en la Escola Superior de Educação de Paula Frassinetti (Portugal). Participaron 151 estudiantes de Educación. Los resultados muestran un patrón de uso extendido. Este patrón describe una adopción frecuente de la IA orientada a tres ejes: búsqueda, ideación y edición
