Modelos de epidemias usando ecuaciones diferenciales ordinarias

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar los modelos de tipo SIR, aplicándolos a un caso real. Estos modelos utilizan un sistema de ecuaciones diferenciales ordinarias y sirven para estudiar cómo evoluciona una epidemia. Primero, se hará un repaso histórico, tanto de pandemias y epidemias relevantes como de su estudio, evolución y los científicos más importantes. Después, se hará un estudio previo de otros modelos más simples como el SI y el SIS, con varias gráficas. Llegando así al análisis del modelo SIR, dónde se hará un estudio más profundo, sobretodo en el cálculo de la solución, pues esta es más compleja que las anteriores. Por último, se aplicará este modelo a algún caso real reciente, como es la COVID-19.
