Abstract

Los nuevos sistemas digitales obligan en la odontología y en la ortodoncia a un cambio radical tanto del ejercicio profesional como en la enseñanza universitaria. No es fácil introducir los nuevos sistemas digitales por los grandes gastos iniciales de los mismos, especialmente de los escáneres intraorales, los softwares y licencias de las diferentes casas comerciales, así como el precio de las impresoras profesionales. Nuestro objetivo es intentar demostrar la fiabilidad de los sistemas simples: uso de softwares libre e impresoras no profesionales. Éstas últimas están al alcance de cualquier estudiante de último curso o de los nuevos odontólogos. Como objetivo secundario se pretende determinar si los sistemas más simples son suficientes para formar a las nuevas generaciones de estudiantes
