Detección, dinámica y habitabilidad de exoplanetas y exosatélites

Abstract

Nesta Tese fáse un profundo estudo sobre os chamados exoplanetas, é dicir, planetas fóra do Sistema Solar, e os satélites que xiran arredor deles, ou exosatélites. No Capítulo 1, describimos os principais métodos de detección de exoplanetas e, no caso do exosatélite , expóñense algúns métodos propostos para a súa posible detección, dado que de momento non se descubriu ningún. No Capítulo 2 describimos o proceso polo cal se determina se un exoplaneta ou exosatélite foi detectado, aplicando a teoría desenvolvida a varios exemplos. O Capítulo 3 trata sobre a dinámica e a estabilidade das órbitas de exoplanetas e exosatélites en diversos escenarios, tales como sistemas binarios, sistemas estelares triplos, etc. Finalmente, o Capítulo 4 dedicámolo á habitabilidade tanto de exoplanetas como de exosatélites, e propoñemos técnicas para que, nun futuro, cando a tecnoloxía teña avanzado o suficiente, poidamos analizar moito máis en profundidade se un exoplaneta/exosatélite é habitable.
