Optimización del cultivo intensivo de almeja fina, Ruditapes decussatus (Linnaeus, 1758), en criadero

Abstract

La almeja fina (Ruditapes decussatus) es la especie de almeja autóctona más apreciada en Galicia. A pesar de todo el esfuerzo que se ha destinado a optimizar la producción de semilla de esta especie en los criaderos, las cifras de producción siguen siendo muy reducidas. El objetivo de este manuscrito es describir y desarrollar puntos importantes de la biología y el cultivo de la almeja fina, con el fin de optimizar su producción intensiva en criadero. Para ello, se van a estudiar tres aspectos básicos como son: la embriología y el desarrollo larvario; la alimentación larvaria y la búsqueda de dietas óptimas durante su cultivo; y por último, la microbiota asociada al desarrollo gonadal durante el acondicionamiento de los reproductores.
