El funcionamiento discursivo de “¿sabes?” en entrevistas semidirigidas y conversaciones

Abstract

El propósito de este trabajo es analizar el uso de ¿sabes?, una forma verbal que se emplea en el discurso oral a modo de marcador discursivo. Para ello se utilizarán los casos registrados en el corpus ESLORA, elaborado por el Grupo de Gramática del Español de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, que servirán para distinguir sus diferentes usos y sentidos. En primer lugar, se presentarán las características consideradas prototípicas de los marcadores. Después, se mostrará la distribución sociolingüística de sabes en el corpus para examinar si el sexo o la edad afectan a la frecuencia de aparición. También, se comprobará a través de los casos registrados si sabes cumple las propiedades atribuidas por los expertos a estas unidades, lo que demostrará que sabes tiene un uso predicativo y un uso discursivo. Además, se hará una clasificación de las funciones pragmáticas de sabes. Finalmente como conclusión se hará una revisión sobre el estado actual de esta forma y su pertenencia (o no) a los marcadores del discurso
