Síntesis y caracterización de nuevos compuestos de Pd(II) con ligandos nitrogenados. Aplicaciones en catálisis

Abstract

Los ligandos multifuncionales derivados de aldehídos y cetonas con semicarbazidas, tiosemicarbazidas o diaminas sustituídas, que poseen átomos donadores de nitrógeno, oxígeno o azufre, pueden dar lugar a compuestos ciclometalados con uno o dos átomos metálicos unidos al ligando orgánico. Se llevará a cabo la síntesis y caracterización estructural de compuestos ciclometalados derivados de ligandos orgánicos de fórmula general R1–C(R)=N-X(R´)-C(S)-NH(R´´) (X = C, N; R, R', R'' = H, alquilo, arilo). Dichos ligandos pueden actuar como ligandos terdentados a través de un átomo de carbono del grupo R1, del átomo de nitrógeno imínico y del átomo de azufre. Se estudiarán con detalle toda la gama de posibilidades de reactividad que ofrecen estos ligandos, tanto en lo concerniente a la variabilidad de los sustituyentes del anillo metalado, como a la de los grupos alquilo y arilo de la cadena unida a dicho anillo para, finalmente, realizar un estudio comparativo de los resultados obtenidos; inclusive de los casos que muestren ausencia del enlace σ(Pd-C). Asimismo, se estudiará su aplicación en reacciones de acoplamiento carbono-carbono, tal como la reacción de acoplamiento cruzado de Suzuki-Miyaura; haciéndose una selección de las especies más activas y de mayor eficacia en su actividad catalítica.
