Abstract

Tesis dirigida por John Martin Evans. El inminente problema energético global y regional, requiere la necesidad de implementar medidas de ahorro energético en distintos ámbitos. Actualmente lograr niveles recomendables de confort y funcionamiento en Arquitectura, implica un importante consumo de recursos no renovables. Un criterio interesante, viable y sustentable para afrontar esta problemática y reducir dicho consumo, es el estudio de envolventes edilicias que se adapten a criterio bioclimáticos propios de la región o lugar de emplazamiento. La evaluación mediante simulaciones, físicas y virtuales del comportamiento de un espacio expuesto a distintas orientaciones permite comparar y obtener información sobre el aporte del diseño y modificaciones de la envolvente. Incorporar en la propuesta un sistema de generación de energía a través de una fuente renovable y limpia, permite aportar al sistema tradicional existente, parte del consumo requerido. El análisis y metodología desarrollada demuestran que una arquitectura creativa y efectiva que optimice los recursos naturales, es uno de los caminos que permite reducir los consumos energéticos para acondicionamiento de edificios, incorporando una solución que reduce el impacto al medio y permite regenerar recursos.
