Abstract

Tesis dirigida por Francisco Alburquerque Llorens y tutor Alberto Gago. El trabajo analiza los efectos o impactos del modelo de modernización económico-social vigente en la Argentina sobre la economía de la provincia de Mendoza, considerando como objeto de estudio específico la transformación productiva en la cadena agroindustrial vitivinícola. Para ello se hizo un estudio orgánico y articulado de lo económico, social y político para intentar poner luz sobre el comportamiento de los agentes económicos, el papel de las políticas de regulación sobre la actividad y los impactos más relevantes. El trabajo se ha dividido en tres partes: la primera está dedicada a dilucidar los orígenes y características de la crisis capitalista actual y de sus consecuencias sobre el modelo de desarrollo de posguerra y la configuración de una nueva dinámica de acumulación. Además, se analiza lo regional en el contexto de estos procesos y se desarrolla el abordaje teórico elegido para interpretarla. En la segunda, se describen las características y evolución de la economía mendocina, de la cadena agroindustrial vitivinícola y actividades conexas. En la tercera se analizan los efectos de la reestructuración en la cadena y en el complejo.
