Abstract

This is an educational research paper that aims to examine, characterize, as well as provide feedback on the level of studies on earth science and the geological-natural patrimony of the members of the FARC-EP in Mesetas Meta, it also aims to provide a guide to enrich such knowledge and achieve and appropriation and identity with the territory. The chosen methodology has qualitative nature and an interpretative paradigm. The Ethnography and the discussion groups were the tools chosen for the recollection of the data, allowing us to understand how the education works and its interaction with the territory from a geoscientific vision. These communities are among the most complex when it comes to investigating, since they have been living in a state of war during the last decades causing the project to have many limitations and mishaps, adding to the fact that it is in times of a Covid-19 pandemic. This research allowed us to know the social-educational context and generate spaces for discussion that opens doors to new opportunities for those involved supporting the end of the war and the social reintegration of these communities.
