Abstract

Trabajo Fin de Máster en Dirección y Gestión de Personas (2019-2020). Tutora: Yolanda Navarro Abal.

The incorporation of women into the world of work has been taking place gradually in recent decades. This circumstance has resulted in the analysis of the different psychosocial factors that modulate the labor well-being of women and the appearance of the burnout syndrome in this group. The main objective of this work is to analyze the labor well-being in women and its influence on the development of Burnout syndrome. A systematic review of the existing literature has been carried out. The results indicate that to a large extent women have a greater incidence in the appearance of Burnout Syndrome than men, all mainly due to the fact that working women need to maintain a balance between work and personal life, however, this circumstance is not confirmed in some investigations in relation to the depersonalization dimension. Based on the data presented, it find that currently women continue to seek a balance between their work and personal life, however, there are already indications that changes in employment-related regulations favor the incorporation of women into work, and that men increasingly want to be more present in the family-work role.
