Abstract

Trabajo Fin de Máster Universitario en Patología de Cadera y Pelvis (2018). Directores: Alberto Albert Ullibarri, Juan José Ballester Alfaro ; Tutor: Fernando López Vizcaya. Objetivos: Determinar la mortalidad de los adultos mayores con fractura transcervical operados con prótesis total de cadera a los 2 y 4 años y determinar la evolución con escalas funcionales durante el primer año en la ciudad de Arequipa-Perú a partir del año 2019. Materiales y métodos. Estudio longitudinal. La información se hará en base a los registros de intervenciones quirúrgicas de adultos mayores con abordaje anterior para prótesis total de cadera en fracturas transcervicales. Considerando que el anciano es más vulnerable a complicaciones peri operatorias porque la mayoría de estos pacientes son frágiles , resulta importante disminuir a través de la cirugía los altos riesgos de complicación de estos pacientes . Durante el postoperatorio temprano fallecen más los pacientes frágiles y con mayor comorbilidad. El estudio está enfocado en el abordaje anterior para instalar la prótesis total de cadera, con lo cual se obtendría un tiempo operatorio satisfactorio , menor sangrado, preservación de la musculatura abductora para una recuperación temprana con menor dolor, y en el tiempo menor índice de luxación protésica
