Abstract

Publicaciones de la Cátedra UNESCO Interculturalidad y Derechos Humanos. El lector encontrará en los capítulos siguientes, y de forma sucesiva, reflexiones del porqué la justicia penal internacional busca la protección de los Derechos Humanos en el ámbito del Consejo de Europa. Se analiza, la sentencia de la Corte Internacional de Justicia de 26 de febrero de 2007, sobre el “genocidio bosnio”. Se estudian los contornos del delito de terrorismo en relación con la seguridad internacional, de los crímenes de guerra, y de otros delitos internacionales que inciden directamente en los derechos de las personas, como la corrupción o el delito de tráfico ilegal de personas. También se incluye una referencia expresa a la mujer como víctima específica en los conflictos internacionales. El último bloque concluye con un examen del estado actual de la justicia universal en España a la luz de la jurisprudencia, y con la evaluación de la Corte Penal Internacional a la luz de sus últimas resoluciones.
