Estudio de ahorro mediante bombeo solar

Abstract

Trabajo fin de Máster dirigido por Roberto Zilles. El bombeo de agua con energía solar fotovoltaica (FV) es una aplicación de especial interés en sistemas aislados. Esta tecnología ha demostrado a lo largo de los años ser un modo efectivo de suministro de agua potable para usuarios y comunidades rurales, así como para aplicaciones agrícolas (irrigación) y ganaderas (abrevaderos). Desde las primeras instalaciones de bombeo FV realizadas en 1978 el número de sistemas instalados en el mundo aumenta rápidamente, algunos estudios indican que mas de 10.000 unidades estaban operativas en 1994 y las previsiones indican que cerca de medio millón de unidades estarán en operación para el año 2010. Cabe destacar la exitosa implementación de numerosos programas de cooperación internacional en el área de bombeo FV como el “Programa Regional Solar del Sahel” (PRS) donde se instalaron 829 sistemas de bombeo FV para el suministro de agua a comunidades rurales, 641 unidades sumergibles y 188 de superficie, con una potencia FV instalada total de 1258 kWp (se incluyeron además 538 sistemas de electrificación rural) en siete países de la zona subsahariana.
