Abstract

[ESP] El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad estudiar el turismo de cruceros y su particular estacionalidad, centrándonos para ello en suestacionalidad delas regiones y puertos de crucerosdel Mar Mediterráneoespañol, Mar Adriático y Mediterráneo oeste,Mar Atlánticoy Mar Báltico. Se analizará y detallará en profundidadelpatrón estacional de cada una de estas regiones de crucero,así como de sus puertos y cómo afecta este patrón tanto a estos últimos como a las regiones de destino. La investigación se realiza a partir de estudios que, en base a numerosas observaciones, determinan la o las diferentes temporadas altas y, en base a investigaciones empíricas de dichos puertos para conocercómo actúa el patrón estacional en las regiones del Mar Mediterráneoespañol, Mar Adriático y Mediterráneo oeste,MarAtlánticoy Mar Báltico.Se espera encontrar que, debido al creciente interés y a la iniciativa de las navieras por poner en valor este tipo de turismo, cada vez existan más regiones de destino aptas y habilitadas para la práctica de esta tipología turística, crecimiento queviene condicionadopor la marcada estacionalidad de las regiones y la necesidad de crear nuevos itinerarios para turistas que ya hayan tenidoexperiencias enviajes de crucero.Sin embargo, se prevé demostrara través de investigaciones empíricas de algunos puertos de las regiones de estudio,que la marcada estacionalidad del turismo de crucerosviene dada, en algunas regiones, por factores distintos a los climáticos, que son siempre los más relevantes, provocandoestos factores,diferentes picos estacionales a las regiones marítimas que se encuentran en los alrededores. [ENG] he present dissertation has a main purpose to study the‘Cruise Tourism’, focusing specifically on itsseasonality in thearea ofMediterraneanSpanishSea, Adriatic and East Mediterranean Sea,the AtlanticSeaand the Baltic Sea. The seasonal pattern of each of these cruise regions, as well as of their ports, will be analysedand detailed in detail and how this pattern affects both the latter and the destination regions. The research is based on studies that, based on numerous observations, determine the different seasons and how the seasonal pattern acts in the cruise ports of the Spanish Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea and WesternMediterranean,Atlantic SeaandBaltic Sea. It is well knownthat, due to the growing demand about cruisesand the initiative ofthe shipping companies tothis type of tourism, there are newregions of destination suitable for the practice of this tourism typology, we would like to explain ifthe marked seasonality of theoldregions and the need to create new itineraries none relationship
