Abstract

La empresa DryGyn España S.A, la cual se dedica a la producción, almacenamiento y venta de bebidas alcohólicas de distinta graduación, dispone de terrenos en el polígono industrial Cabezo de los Camachos, en Cartagena. En dichos terrenos la empresa dispone de las naves industriales destinadas a almacenamiento de materia prima, proceso y producto terminado, así como oficinas. En cuanto al alcohol, la empresa lo almacena en dos pequeños depósitos de 20m3 situados a la intemperie. Debido a un aumento de la demanda tras tomar comenzar con la exportación de producto al resto de Europa y tras un estudio logístico. El director de la compañía DryGyn S.A, toma la decisión de la construcción de una nave anexa a las ya construidas destinada única y exclusivamente al almacenamiento de alcohol, pasando de una capacidad de almacenamiento de 40.000 a 200.000 litros. La imposibilidad de concretar y reducir las zonas de riesgo frente a terceros (proximidad de vías de circulación, otras edificaciones), lleva a la necesidad de establecer niveles de seguridad adecuados para la contención del riesgo, siendo la única solución construir recintos adecuados para la contención tanto de posibles derrames como del peligro de incendio y su propagación. Dicha instalación contará con una serie de medidas de seguridad que garanticen la integridad del resto de la instalación así como de todo el personal en caso de emergencia. El objeto del presente Proyecto es la definición de las características del almacenamiento de productos inflamables, según la Instrucción Técnica Complementaria MIE-APQ 01 del Reglamento de Almacenamiento de Productos Químicos.
