Abstract

El objeto del Proyecto Final de Grado es estudiar un sistema constructivo diferente al tradicionalmente ejecutado en nuestro país. El sistema a analizar se compone de paneles estructurales de Poliestireno Expandido (EPS) y mallazos de acero en ambas caras recubiertos de microhormigón proyectado. El propósito es conocer si este sistema constructivo es factible o no, qué condiciones presenta y si es rentable utilizarlo en España. La elección de este Proyecto Final de Grado se basa en buscar otra solución alternativa a la edificación que se realiza en el país, puesto que los sistemas tradicionales, tales como obra de fábrica y construcciones con hormigón armado, abarcan la mayoría de las construcciones realizadas en España. A diferencia de otros países como Holanda, Francia o Alemania que han sufrido una evolución en la construcción y trabajan con nuevos sistemas de prefabricados y semiprefabricados. Puesto que el poliestireno expandido tiene múltiples aplicaciones en el ámbito de la construcción, este proyecto se basará en la construcción de paneles simples aplicados a toda la estructura de una vivienda.
