Abstract

El Proyecto tiene como objetivo la realización de un cargador de baterías con una potencia de mil quinientos vatios, basado en un rectificador controlado. De los distintos tipos de batería que existen, para este Proyecto se ha elegido una batería de plomo ácido. Las baterías de plomo son un tipo de batería muy común en vehículos convencionales, no híbridos. Suelen dar 6V, 12V, 24v u otro múltiplo, pero la tensión que suministra cada celda es de 2 v. Tomaremos un valor de 48 voltios. Tienen una gran capacidad de corriente que las hacen ideales para los motores de arranque. Su forma más conocida es la batería de automóvil, si bien la que se va a diseñar en este Proyecto va encaminada a ocuparse de otro tipo de máquinas que necesiten de un cargador, que puedan encontrarse en cualquier nave industrial. Las baterías están formadas por un depósito de ácido sulfúrico y dentro de él una serie de placas de plomo dispuestas alternadamente. A partir de un rectificador que realizaremos con tiristores, y a partir de distintas fases tales como sensores, medidas o control de dichos tiristores, controlaremos la carga de la batería que deberá al final ser correcta. Si ocurriese alguna eventualidad, tal como pueda ser por ejemplo una elevada temperatura u otras que se irán describiendo a continuación, la carga debería detenerse y saltar una alarma, o lo que sea de rigor.
