En este trabajo presentamos algunos resultados acerca de las propiedades más destacables de nanopartículas monodispersas esféricas de la conocida ferrita de hierro Fe304. Estos sistemas son unos de los más aplaudidos candidatos futuros para su empleo como sistemas de liberación controlada de fármacos en las terapias de los tumores sólidos.
