Caracterización y modelado de un actuador-sensor polimérico

Abstract

La vida que actualmente disfrutamos quizás no sería tal sin el descubrimiento de los materiales denominados polímeros, más comúnmente conocidos como plásticos. La mayoría de polímeros orgánicos que son producidos son excelentes aisladores eléctricos, pero los polímeros conductores, casi todos orgánicos, presentan enlaces deslocalizados que forman una estructura similar a la del silicio y presentan conductividad. Su investigación ha dado lugar a muchas aplicaciones recientes, como los diodos emisores de luz, numerosas pantallas de vídeo, las nuevas marcaciones de los productos en los supermercados, el procesamiento de las películas fotográficas, etc. Durante este proyecto, conseguiremos un modelo teórico que sea capaz de describir, lo más fielmente posible, la evolución empírica del potencial eléctrico recogida de los dispositivos basados en estos nuevos materiales, en los procesos químicos de oxidación y reducción con flujos de corriente aplicada constantes.
