Abstract

El proyecto a desarrollo será el de una embarcación de alta velocidad en poliéster reforzado con fibra de vidrio, cuya misión será: Ayuda y salvaguardia de buques en la mar. Detección, seguimiento y represión de buques que cometan alguna ilegalidad. Realizar labores de vigilancia, de control y de seguridad de los intereses del país dentro del marco de las aguas jurisdiccionales. El objetivo por el cual se diseña dicha embarcación será el apresamiento de embarcaciones de contrabando y narcotráfico, que navegan a gran velocidad, mayor incluso que la velocidad del buque proyecto; de ahí que la baza sobre la que se apoya dicho proyecto sea la autonomía y la velocidad. De ahí que los requisitos de proyecto sean los siguientes: Velocidad de crucero 35 nudos y velocidad máxima 45 nudos. Autonomía de 600 millas náuticas. Propulsión chorros de agua. Construcción en poliéster reforzado con fibra de vidrio. La ruta de actuación será el mediterráneo, con puerto base en Cartagena y haciendo patrullas por dicha zona.
