Abstract

[ENG] As tourism becomes a key driver of economic development globally, the role of women in tourism is becoming increasingly important. Women entrepreneurs in the tourism sector not only contribute to economic growth, but also drive innovation, diversity and sustainability in their communities. Despite significant potential, women face a number of challenges and constraints that hinder their full participation and success in tourism entrepreneurship. This paper aims to contribute to academic knowledge on women's entrepreneurship in tourism by assessing women's contributions to the industry and identifying barriers they face in order to promote recommendations for improving the business environment. To verify the importance of women's entrepreneurship in tourism, as an inspirational role model for other women and as a growth opportunity for the sector.
