[SPA] Este trabajo tiene como objetivo conocer en profundidad el inexplorado mercado de las navieras de crucero, su evolución y que factores tienen en cuenta para la toma de decisiones. Para ello, en primer lugar se analiza el origen del turismo de cruceros y su evolución. Seguidamente se analizan los agentes relevantes que intervienen en el sector cruceros y el papel que desarrollan los puertos a la hora de la elección de los itinerarios. [ENG] The aim of this paper is to gain an in-depth knowledge of the unexplored market of cruise shipping companies, their evolution and the factors they take into account when making decisions. To this end, firstly, the origin of cruise tourism and its evolution are analysed. It then goes on to analyse the relevant agents involved in the cruise sector and the role played by ports in the choice of itineraries.
