Abstract

[ENG] The present Master's Thesis consists of the design of a composting plant aimed at valorizing bio-waste generated in a hotel. Based on the limitations and requirements, various bio-waste treatment techniques were evaluated, concluding that composting was the most interesting option. The design included a series of necessary procedures for the implementation of the plant and the parameters to be considered before and during the process. The main objective of this research was to find alternatives to properly treat bio-waste in a way that contributes to the circular economy and maximizes the utilization of the resulting product
