Sistema automatizado de medidas del perfil de potencia angular y de retardo (PADP) para la caracterización del canal direccional de radiocomunicaciones en la banda de milimétricas

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta un sondeador de canal de perfil de retardo de potencia angular (PADP) con mediciones preliminares a 32 GHz en un pasillo. Se ha diseñado un dispositivo de bajo coste para realizar la rotación de la antena direccional con un procedimiento de medición totalmente automático. Las mediciones iniciales se han realizado a 32 GHz dentro de un ancho de banda de 10 GHz, utilizando un analizador vectorial de redes (VNA). Las mediciones permiten estudiar el comportamiento multitrayectoria en este entorno interior; se detectaron gran número de fuentes de objetos dispersores. Este conocimiento es de interés porque las señales de los sistemas 5G y 6G operarán en bandas de ondas milimétricas, como la utilizada en este trabajo. En las mediciones angulares se observaron las diferentes contribuciones multitrayecto, especialmente las producidas por las paredes a 40 y -40 grados y las producidas por los tubos metálicos a 25 y -65 grados. Además, por encima de 80 grados y por debajo de -80 grados, la dispersión del retardo RMS aumenta hasta 60 ns
