Abstract

Las demoliciones con explosivos en edificios y estructuras es una técnica de demolición relativamente nueva en el mundo, implementada en España hace casi 50 años con la demolición del edificio Diario Madrid en 1973. En ingeniería de la construcción, esta es una técnica rápida y eficaz de demolición para edificios altos y esbeltos, donde la demolición por medios convencionales resulta complicado por el alcance y eficiencia de la maquinaria en este tipo de edificios. El objetivo principal del presente trabajo consistirá en la demolición de un proyecto de edificación, el Hotel Pharos de 70 m de altura y 18 plantas, ubicado en el puerto de Cartagena, diseñado por el estudiante de la UPCT Rafael Baladrón Ros en su TFG. El trabajo se desarrolla en 10 capítulos. La primera parte se centrará en definir y estudiar las características del edificio y sus alrededores y preparar las diferentes medidas de protección en función de ellas. La segunda parte se dirigirá a la demolición en sí, el trabajo previo, el planeamiento de la voladura, estudio de las vibraciones, legislación, secuencia, orden y consumo de explosivo. La tercera parte constará del tratamiento y gestión de los residuos generados de la demolición y su aspecto medioambiental. La cuarta parte tratará sobre las normativas de seguridad, legislación y disposiciones internas.
