The main objective of this end-of-study project is to give greater visibility to a social problem suffered by people with disabilities when it comes to accessing a job, due to the fact that there are a large number of men and women from this group who they do not have the same opportunities as the rest just because they have a degree of disability. The specific objective is to carry out an exploratory analysis of the job offers published in a job portal from the perspective of disability. The analysis of the data indicates that people with disabilities obtain a low percentage of options to access a job offer, which is the opposite of what happens to a person without disabilities. We base this conclusion on the reduced number of offers presented by the employment portal analyzed specifically for this group. When analyzing the data, we have generated two groups depending on whether the offer was explicitly aimed at people with disabilities (including that term) or not (excluding that term). Based on this distinction, we have called one of them “offers aimed at people with disabilities” and the other, “offers aimed at people without disabilities”. The reason for this distinction is in line with the objective of analyzing the visibility of disability in the labor market. However, we point out that the fact that an offer does not explicitly contain the term disability does not mean that it is not accessible to a person with a disability.
