Reparação intra-oral de cerâmicas fraturadas em medicina dentária

Abstract

As cerâmicas usadas em Medicina Dentária são passíveis de fratura e as reparações intra-orais podem, em alguns casos, evitar a substituição da restauração. O sucesso da técnica de reparação depende de tratamentos superficiais adequados para cada tipo de cerâmica. O objetivo deste trabalho é realizar uma revisão narrativa da literatura sobre os principais e mais efectivos métodos de tratamento da superfície de cerâmicas fraturadas para sua reparação com resina composta. Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica através das plataformas online B-on, PubMed, Bireme e Scielo no período de 2014 a 2019. Diversos materiais têm sido investigados na tentativa de favorecer a união entre cerâmica e resina composta. O condicionamento com ácido hidrofluorídrico, o jateamento de partículas e o uso de silano são alguns dos métodos mais comumente utilizados nos protocolos de reparação.
