A violência doméstica é um complexo e multifacetado fenómeno social, sobre o qual não se esgotam os estudos. Contudo, nunca é de mais procurar entender melhor esta realidade, cuja visibilidade social tem vindo a aumentar, bem como as preocupações da sociedade em geral em torno deste complexo fenómeno social. Todavia, problematiza-se neste projecto de graduação a violência doméstica perpetrada contra o homem, uma realidade ainda pouco estudada e até mesmo reconhecida, que devido a constructos sociais e culturais em torno do homem e das masculinidades, leva a que a sua vitimização nas relações íntimas seja tida como inexistente ou como uma realidade quase anedótica. Apresenta-se ainda uma proposta de um estudo qualitativo, a realizar através de entrevistas semi-estruturadas, aplicadas na forma semi-directiva, a homens vítimas de violência doméstica em relações afectivas com mulheres, tendo em conta o guião de entrevista concebido, que tem em atenção o quadro conceptual norteador deste projecto. Domestic Violence is a complex and multifaceted social phenomenon on which the studies are not exhausted. However, is never too much seek know better this reality, whose social visibility have been increasing, such as the global society concerns around this complex social phenomenon. Still, discusses in this graduation project the domestic violence perpetrated against man, a reality yet poorly studied and recognized, which because of the social and cultural constructions rounding man and masculinities, lead to his victimization in the intimate relations being seen has absent or as an anecdotic reality. It is shown yet a quality study proposal, to accomplish through semi structured interviews, applied in semi directive form, to men who are being domestic violence victims in emotional relationships with women, bearing in mind the interview script made, that focuses the conceptual framework guiding of this project.
