This article establishes certain lines or series of dramatic and writerly creation common to the Chilean theater of the decades of the 90’s and 2000. It explores thematic and scene proposals of the theater in the postdictatorship. It aims at recognizing the ways these works rearticulate the relationship between the theater and the socio-political context through the concept of theatrical historicity. It claims that instead of avoiding the politico-historic during this time there is a redramatization of the scene. This takes place together with the articulation of the modes in which the theatrical authors include in their work their own processes of textual production, leaving a mark of themselves as subjects who construct themselves discursively in the languages of the scene of a post and hyper modernity.
