Prevalência de lesões músculo-esqueléticos em atletas de futsal feminino

Abstract

O futsal /futebol de salão é uma modalidade desportiva em ascensão, no entanto, existe ainda uma grande carência de literatura que contemple esta temática. Assim os objectivos deste estudo são determinar a prevalência de lesões músculo-esqueléticas em atletas de futsal feminino, determinar as áreas de sintomatologia mais comuns e intensidade reportada e relacionar o número de lesões com a eventual prática de medidas preventivas e com o índice de massa corporal das atletas. Foram utilizados dois questionários, o “Questionário Nórdico Músculo-esquelético (QNM) ” e um questionário sócio-demográfico, preenchidos por um total de 24 atletas de futsal feminino na época 2011/2012. A prevalência de lesões anteriores nas atletas em estudo é de 50%, sendo as áreas mais afectadas os pés (12,5%), tornozelos (12,5%) e joelhos (12,5%). Relativamente à prevalência de lesões nos últimos 12 meses verificamos que 50% das atletas refere ter tido lesão nesse período, existindo uma maior prevalência de sintomatologia nos joelhos (20,8%) e anca/coxas (8,33%). Nos últimos 7 dias a prevalência de lesões é de 37,5% sendo que as áreas mais afectadas são os tornozelos/pés (16,7%) e joelhos (12,5%).
