Abstract

Nell’articolo si propongono alcune considerazioni relativi a quei luoghi chiamati da Foucault “contro-spazi”. Hospice, ospedali, case di riposo, prigioni, ma anche centri ricreativi per anziani, centri di aggregazione giovanile, vengono considerati dalla società come luoghi frequentati da persone con esigenze e bisogni particolari che non rientrano, secondo le opinioni diffuse, nella normalità, luoghi il cui accesso non è libero, ma limitato a chi rientra in determinate categorie ben specifiche. Questi contro-spazi possono spesso diventare luoghi di allontanamento e di ghettizzazione, dove la socialità e la socializzazione sono rese difficili se non addirittura negate.
