Abstract

Il contributo approfondisce le problematiche di definizione del concetto di Fair Value, quale criterio di misurazione in bilancio. In particolare viene analizzata la definizione fornita nell'ambito dei principi contabili internazionali e come questa si collochi nel contesto dei differenti modelli contabili di riferimento. La definizione di fair value quale prezzo di uscita deve essere correttamente qualificata nell'ambito di un modello contabile a costo storico o comunque in un modello contabile misto, proposto nell'ambito dei principi contabili internazionali. Il contributo evidenzia quindi i pregi e i limiti di un'eventuale transizione a un modello contabile fondato sul concetto di fair value ("Fair value accouting"
