Abstract

This synoptic checklist comprises all vascular plants native or naturalized of the Comarca del Andévalo and Sierra de Huelva (SW Spain). This is one of the results of a study on the fl ora and vegetation of this wide territory of Huelva province, developed from 2003 on. This checklist includes 1412 taxa (species and subspecies). For each taxon the following items are included: accepted name, selected synonyms, including the names used in the references given for each taxon, general distribution, distribution within the study area by chorological units, habitat, frequency and previous records. Short comments are added for some of the taxa.

Este catálogo sinóptico incluye todas las plantas nativas de la Comarca del Andévalo y de la Sierra de Huelva (SO de España). Es uno de los resultados de un estudio sobre la fl ora y vegetación de este amplio territorio de la provincia de Huelva, iniciado en 2003. Incluye 1412 taxones (especies y subespecies), para cada uno de los cuales se indica el nombre aceptado, sinónimos más usados, nombres por los que se citan en las referencias bibliográfi cas citadas, distribución general, distribución en el área de estudio por unidades corológicas, hábitat, frecuencia y citas previas. Se añaden breves comentarios sobre determinados taxones.
