Abstract

A través de un estudio lito-estratigráfico y tectónico se pretende deducir el contexto estructural en el que se desarrolló el magmatismo alcalino del Triásico Superior, para el margen nor-occidental de la Rama Aragonesa de la Cordillera Ibérica (Sierra del Moncayo). La reactivación del rift Ibérico y el emplazamiento de al menos dos sills en área estudiada, pudo tener lugar a través de la apertura de un número reducido de fallas normales, con orientación actual Ibérica (NO-SE). Estas fallas, sincrónicas al emplazamiento de los volúmenes ígneos y al desarrollo posterior de la “Unidad sedimentaria post-emplazamiento”, son distintas a las tradicionalmente consideradas como fallas de primer orden en este territorio: Tablado-Jarque y Río-Grío (ambas relacionadas con la falla de Datos y su prolongación occidental)
