The political-religious development of Greece during Roman times resulted in the introduction of emperor worship. Different koina were responsible for the administration and organization of these cultic acts. The headquarters of these leagues often corresponded to sacred places with Panhellenic meaning. This article seeks to consolidate through epigraphic, literary and archaeological sources, the vision of Delphi as the site of one of the agonistic rituals dedicated to the Emperor and the involvement of the Amphictyony of Pylae and Delphi in coordinating the honors to the emperors in this place
La evolución político-religiosa del territorio griego durante época romana supuso la introducción del culto al emperador. Los distintos koina eran los encargados de su administración y organización, y sus sedes solían corresponder con los principales centros sacros de caracterización panhelénica. El presente artículo pretende consolidar a través de fuentes epigráficas, literarias y arqueológicas, la visión de Delfos como sede de uno de los rituales agonísticos dedicados al emperador y la implicación de la Anfictionía Pileo-Délfica en la coordinación de las honras a los emperadores.
