En este artículo se presenta el análisis de diversas perspectivas que abordan las pautas y criterios para el análisis y evaluación de materiales curriculares. Con sus aspectos diferenciales todas esas propuestas vienen a demostrar la importancia sustantiva que los materiales educativos adquieren en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje y cómo uno de los roles docentes ha de focalizarse en las competencias necesarias y suficientes para saber valorar con fundamentos estos instrumentos protagonistas de la acción pedagógica.
The analysis of diverse perspectives which broad different standards and criteria of the analysis and evaluation of curricular material is exposed in this article. These proposals, with their distinguishing aspects, demonstrate the substantive importance that educational materials acquire in teaching and learning processes, and how one of the teaching roles must focus on the necessary and sufficient competences in order to know to value, with appropriate basis, these principal pedagogic action tools.
